GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS

- Bangunan Darul Ehsan, Selangor

Air Selangor announced this morning that a positive case was detected at Bangunan Darul Ehsan in Section 14, Shah Alam which houses the Selangor state administration office.

Following this, it said, Air Selangor's office is closed for two days until Dec 10 for sanitisation.


RESIDENCES

- Ria Apartment, Kayangan Apartment, and Amber Court, Genting Highlands, Pahang

Residents are not allowed to leave their condominiums and have to undergo screening after a cluster of cases was detected here.

They are believed to be part of the Jalan Genting cluster, which now has 45 cases out of 362 tested.

Residents have to wear quarantine wristbands while army and police personnel have cordoned off the condominiums.

In an announcement later, Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said Ria Apartment and Amber Court will go under enhanced movement control order from Dec 10 to Dec 23, while Kayangan Apartment is spared.

- Ekocheras Towers, Kuala Lumpur

An occupant here tested positive for Covid-19 while another was placed under quarantine, according to a notice issued by the apartment management yesterday (Dec 8).

The notice stated that the Ekocheras property management team was informed of the case by the Cheras Health Office. Ekocheras is a mixed development including serviced apartments and a shopping mall.

"The EkoCheras Mall Management was just made aware of this and would like to reassure all shoppers, residents, tenants, and staff that precautionary actions are in place... (including) cleaning works of all baby rooms, toilets, lifts... as well as having sanitising stations and temperature taking at all entrances," said the notice on the mall's Facebook account.

- Villa Crystal, Segambut, Kuala Lumpur

The management of this condominium complex located in Taman Sri Sinar, Segambut issued a notice yesterday (Dec 8) that a resident from Block A has been found positive for Covid-19, according to a report by China Press.

Following this, the condominium management said they will be conducting disinfection activities at all common areas in the condominium, and advised all residents to stay calm and follow SOPs.

- The Wharf & Bizwalk, Puchong, Selangor

The joint management body of this residential complex in Taman Tasik Prima, Puchong on Dec 2 issued a notice that a resident from Level 29 of Tower 8 tested positive for Covid-19 a day earlier.

It said that cleaning works have been carried out at the affected floor, as well as at other common areas, including elevators.

Residents are also advised to use online banking transactions to pay fees due to the management body.

- D'Inspire Residence Nusa Bestari, Skudai, Johor

According to a notice issued by its management body on Monday (Dec 7), a positive case was reported at Level 17 of Tower A at this condominium.

Following this, the management has arranged for sanitisation works at all common areas including the condominium's lobbies, elevators, the affected level and also the management office.

It is learned that all management staff were also placed under 14-day home quarantine as they had come into close contact with the infected person.

- Azelia Residence, Sri Damansara, Kuala Lumpur

A resident at Level 6, Block B tested positive for Covid-19 today, the management said in a notice to residents.

This is the second Azelia resident to test positive in the past week, with the first case being on Dec 3.

A professional cleaning company will sanitise all common areas on every floor for the second time as soon as possible, the management said.

- Prima Midah Heights, Cheras, KL

The condominium's management, in the notice, said a resident living in Block C had tested positive for Covid-19.

It said health authorities have moved into the condominium for sanitisation works, according to China Press.

It also urged residents not to spread the patient's personal details and to take precaution.

- Andari Townvilla 1, Batu Caves

The apartment's management said it was informed on Dec 9 that a resident had tested positive for Covid-19, according to China Press.

It said the Health Ministry was informed following the report and deep cleaning works were conducted.


BUSINESSES

- Standard Chartered, Subang Jaya branch, Selangor

The bank confirmed an employee at a branch in USJ tested positive for Covid-19. The employee was last at the branch on Dec 7.

All close contacts of the affected employee are now in quarantine while the bank is temporarily closed for disinfection. 

- Eco Shop Warta Lama, Batu Caves, Selangor

The company, in a statement this morning, said that one of its staff attached to the Warta Lama outlet located in Batu Caves was found positive for Covid-19.

According to them, the male employee last came to work yesterday (Dec 8).

"As a precautionary measure, we will be closing the ECO Shop Warta Lama outlet until further notice for deep cleansing and thorough sanitisation of the entire premise," it said.

- Maybank Taman Segar branch, Cheras, KL

Maybank said one of its customers who visited the bank's Taman Segar branch was tested positive for Covid-19.

It said the customer visited level 2 of the branch on Nov 29, at around 11.30am and spent around one hour to perform banking services.

It said the branch will be closed for deep cleaning and reopens on Dec 10, according to China Press.

The notice also said that customers and employees who are close contacts to the patient have also been identified for quarantine.
