RESIDENCES

- Melur Apartment, Bandar Baru Sentul, Kuala Lumpur

The management body of this apartment issued a notice today, informing residents that an occupant of a unit in Block C has been tested positive for Covid-19.

It is learnt that the woman was picked-up by health authorities to the hospital at 4pm.

Following this, the management body has decided to close the apartment from all visitors and contractors for 14 days from today until Dec 12.

- Jalil Damai Apartments, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur

A couple at Block C of the apartment was found positive for Covid-19 on Nov 28, 2020, according to a notice issued by the apartment management body.

It stated that the residents had visited the management office on Nov 20.

Following this, the office is closed for three days from Monday (Nov 30) to Wednesday (Dec 2) to allow all staff to undergo Covid-19 screening tests.

- Kampung Tempasuk 1, Kota Belud, Sabah

Health authorities found a new infection cluster linked to a funeral here.

As of yesterday, the Health Ministry announced that the Tempasuk cluster has recorded 12 cases. The Sabah Health Department confirmed that seven of the cases were related to a funeral.

It is learnt that this cluster is related to the funeral held in Kampung Tempasuk 1 on Nov 17. Its attendees are now being sought by the district health office for screening.


PLACES OF WORSHIP

- Surau Nurul Iman, Simpang Renggam, Johor

The surau management committee received a notice from health authorities yesterday (Nov 28) to close the premises for a week until Dec 12, after a person who tested positive for Covid-19 was found to be a recent visitor.

According to a committee member who declined to be named, the individual was at the surau for a ceramah.


BUSINESSES

- Sky Meridien construction site, Bandar Baru Sentul, Kuala Lumpur

The Health Ministry yesterday announced a new cluster called Awan Baru involving construction workers, which registered 31 positive cases.

According to its director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, the cases were identified through a screening activity at the site. He visited the site today.

Noor Hisham today visited the site, which is located in Bandar Baru Sentul.

- Jesselton Quay construction site, Kota Kinabalu

The Health Ministry yesterday announced a new cluster called the Jesselton Cluster, which so far recorded a total of 44 cases.

Sabah State Health Department said cases are construction workers at the Jesselton Quay construction site in Kota Kinabalu.

- Sandakan Port

A new cluster called the Dermaga Cluster in Sandakan, Sabah has recorded 34 cases as of noon yesterday (Nov 28), said the Health Ministry.

Sabah Health Department said 17 of the cases were detected through a screening exercise conducted at the Sandakan Port.


PRISONS AND DETENTION CENTRES

- Sibuga Temporary Detention Centre, Sabah

The Health Ministry detected a new cluster dubbed the PTS Sibuga Cluster in Sandakan, Sabah.

As of yesterday (Nov 28), a total of 104 positive cases have been reported under this cluster.

According to the Sabah Health Department, 99 of the cases were related to the Sibuga Temporary Detention Centre.
