Below are the verified locations that are reported to be affected today.

GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS

- Johor Jaya Fire Station, Johor

A fire and rescue personnel at this fire station tested positive for Covid-19, Johor Fire and Rescue Department director Yahya Madis said.

The personnel was infected through contact with his mother-in-law who is a part of the Kobena cluster.

All personnel at the fire station are undergoing quarantine at home while all equipment and the fire station has been sanitised.

Personnel from other fire stations will temporarily take over at Johor Jaya in this period.


BUSINESSES

- Fruit shop, Foyer B, Pulau Pinang Hospital

A worker at this shop tested positive for Covid-19 on Nov 23. The shop is closed until further notice. Hospital staff who visited the shop from Nov 16 to 19 are required to declare themselves, according to a memo issued to staff yesterday.

The hospital's Public Health Unit will contact those deemed to be exposed for further screening.

- Segi Fresh supermarket, Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor

Nine workers at this supermarket tested positive for Covid-19, the Sijangkang Village Development Council (MPKK) said.

The supermarket is closed from Nov 20 to Dec 3.

Covid-19 screening for workers and close contacts was conducted yesterday.

- Plant 1 of Jabil Penang, at Hilir Sungai Keluang 1, Bayan Lepas

Swab testing of 2,000 Jabil employees showed 21 as confirmed positive cases.

Following a Covid-19 assessment by the Ministry of Health, the plant has been closed and Environmental Health and Safety protocols are being implemented.

The manufacturing solutions provider said all other Jabil sites in Penang remained operational.

- Uncle Don's Restaurant, SS2 Petaling Jaya, Selangor

The restaurant announced that three of its 40 staff members have tested positive for Covid-19, and its SS2 outlet will be closed for disinfection. It assured that staff at the SS2 outlet have no contact with staff at other outlets.

It said the affected staff members were not on duty on Nov 25. However, it advised that customers who visited between Nov 20 to Nov 25 who show Covid-19 symptoms should get tested.


RESIDENCES

- Kampung Lebak Moyoh, Kota Belud, Sabah

Those who attended a nibau ceremony (memorial service) and kenduri arwah (gathering to pay respects to the deceased) at this village on Nov 20 and 21 respectively are urged to come forward for Covid-19 screening.

The Kota Belud Health Office will conduct screening at the village community hall today, from 10am to 1pm.

- Villa Angsana, Taman Rainbow, Kuala Lumpur

A resident of Level 21, Block C has tested positive, the management said in a notice yesterday.

Sanitation will be carried out soon and visitors are not allowed in this period, it added.

- Various locations in Tongkang Pecah, Batu Pahat

An enhanced movement control order is imposed on Lorong 7 to 10 of Bandar Puteri Indah, Batu 7 and Kampung Mohd Nor in this subdistrict starting Nov 29.

This is after a spike of cases in the area.

- Jalan Haruan, Seremban

A cluster of cases is located in this area, which mostly consists of shophouses and retail outlets.

It is part of Medan Perdagangan Oakland.

- Kampung Nanamun, Kota Belud, Sabah

Those who attended a kenduri arwah (gathering to pay respects to the deceased) at Kampung Nanamun on Nov 17 are urged to seek Covid-19 testing.

Free testing will be provided by the Health Ministry at the village community hall tomorrow from 10am to 1pm.

- Kulai, Johor

The Kulai district health office said Covid-19 cases have been detected at Taman Pulai Jaya (one case) and Kampung Baru Selang (one case) today.

Meanwhile, Harian Metro reported that movement in Kampung Sri Gunung Pulai has been restricted by the police after several Covid-19 cases were found. The district health office states there are nine cases there in the past 14 days.


OFFICES

- Menara UOA Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur

One employee in Tower A of the office building has tested positive for Covid-19 after coming into close contact with a patient. The affected workplace has been closed since Nov 25 and the rest of its employees will be tested.

The building management sanitised affected floors and common areas yesterday and this afternoon, according to a notice issued today to all owners and tenants in the building.
