Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh has been nominated for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy Motion Picture at the Golden Globes awards for her work on the multiverse adventure comedy film ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’.

The Golden Globes is an annual event organised by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and fans will find out if Yeoh wins during the award ceremony on Jan 10.

Everything Everywhere All At Once scored the second-highest number of nominations for a feature film and Yeoh’s co-stars Ke Huy Quan and Jamie Lee Curtis were nominated in the Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress categories.

Yeoh was recently bestowed with Time Magazine’s Icon of the Year 2022 and is enjoying a career upswing with the success of films such as ‘Crazy Rich Asians’, ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ and was recently cast in the film version of the Broadway musical ‘Wicked’ alongside another Malaysian actor Aaron Teoh.

She will soon be seen on Netflix’s ‘The Witcher: Blood Origin’.
