The result will be the same - that is, no prosecution after so-called 'investigations' into cases involving ruling parties' political strongmen and women. In fact, the 'investigations' are actually a 'cleaning process' carried out by the ACA for these people to clear their names.
There have been many 'cleaned cases' involving ex-menteri besars, ex-chief ministers, ex-ministers as well as still serving ministers and deputy ministers, MPs, exco members and local councillors. As long as these guys are in the good books of the big boss and still ''supported by parties members'' as they always claim, they will be ''cleaned from head to toe'' - to quote from one of the previously 'cleaned' CMs.
So perhaps we should call ACA the Automatic Cleaning Agency?

Dr Collin Abraham: It is reported that Abdul Ghani Othman and Shahrir Abdul Samad have joined the 'rush' to drop bumi quotas for the Iskandar Development Region (IDR) to attract foreign investment.
This is all well and good but can also be seen as an 'obvious' and easy way to try to solve the complex entrenched problem of bumi unemployment. Perhaps these highly respected politicians may wish to consider restructuring the NEP by introducing a basic living wage for all employees in the IDR.
By offering to put more money into the pockets of workers based on fair market wages, it will at least offer the opportunity for some to save money and seek social mobility through paying for knowledge-based skills training.
With respect, it is about time that politicians and policymakers in this age and time remove their 'elitist' glasses and 'turun padang'
On Judiciary failing non-Muslims, says group
Lam: Why don't we adopt civil law for only non-Muslims and syariah law for Muslims? Period.
I am puzzled as to why syariah law is not applied to Muslims committing theft, robbery, murder, etc. If civil court judges are serious about using the Syariah Court, then they should refer all Muslims to the Syariah Court for all offences, and not selectively apply civil law and syariah law that benefits certain parties.

Machap can set an example for the upcoming national elections. This is the time to deter corruption so that all citizens don't have to continue paying the corrupt politicians. Peaceful demonstrations have been crushed by the police who destroy the freedom of expression of citizens through their harsh action.
The people of Machap should protest through the ballot in the by-election.
