Malacca DAP chairperson Tey Kok Kiew has stepped down and vice-chairperson Khoo Poay Tiong will assume the post until the state party election in November.

Speaking at a press conference today, deputy chairperson G Saminathan said Tey resigned on June 6 and a meeting was held last night to choose his successor.
