Pahang police have received 28 reports against Perikatan Nasional chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin who allegedly touched on 3R (race, religion and royalty) while campaigning for the Nenggiri by-election.

State police chief Yahaya Othman said Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department’s Classified Crimes Investigation Unit will carry out the probe.

"So far, we have received 28 reports lodged in all Pahang districts,” he told Bernama today.

The former prime minister during a speech allegedly touched on Pahang ruler Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah’s role in forming the coalition government after the 15th general election, in his capacity as the Agong then.

Umno vice-president Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail also expressed his disappointment over Muhyiddin’s speech in a Facebook post yesterday and urged the authorities to act against the Pagoh MP.
