  • PAS Youth has accused PKR leader Dr Sathia Prakash Nadarajan of distorting Kedah Menteri Besar Sanusi Nor’s recent remarks on the Chinese and Indian communities.

PAS Youth chief Afnan Hamimi Taib Azamudden urged Sathia to withdraw his police report against Sanusi and apologise publicly.

He also said the wing would file reports against the Selangor PKR election director to investigate possible sedition, spreading false information, and inciting racial hostility.

Selangor PKR election director Dr Sathia Prakash Nadarajan

“He (Sanusi) never said or instructed the Chinese community to ‘go back to China’ or the Indian community to ‘go back to India’.

“The addition of the word ‘back’ has changed the entire meaning of his (Sanusi’s) speech,” Afnan said in a statement today.

Sathia had lodged a police report against Sanusi over the remarks, claiming the Kedah menteri besar had told Indians to return to India and Chinese to return to China.
