1MDB case status remains unchanged after Najib's conditional pardon - MACC
The status of the 1MDB case involving Najib Abdul Razak remains unchanged following his conditional pardon, said MACC chief commissioner Abd Halim Aman, stressing that each case must be handled separately based on the issues and investigations involved.
“For our part, cases that are still pending will continue as usual. The status quo remains,” he told a press conference in Kajang today when asked whether the conditional pardon granted to the former prime minister would impact the ongoing 1MDB case and appeal.

Halim said one case could not simply be equated with another, as each investigation involved different allegations and issues.
“They cannot be handled as if they were the same case, as each investigation is focused on what is being investigated, whether it concerns specific issues raised or complaints received,” he said.
Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar granted Najib (above) a conditional pardon, allowing him to serve the remainder of his sentence under house arrest until Aug 23, 2028, subject to the payment of a RM50 million fine.
The Legal Affairs Division of the Prime Minister’s Department said the decision was made at the 64th meeting of the Federal Territories Pardons Board, held at Istana Negara yesterday.

Once UMNO takes over the Federal gomen, everything settled for Bossku.
If not for TM would 1MDB have reached Msian courts ? In newer leadership DNAA and reports ( TH) being held back for political timing?
Don’t worry, if in the very unlikely event that Bossku is found guilty in the 1MDB case his prison sentence at home can be simply extended to accommodate fresh punishment for him. What is important is that his house has already been legally determined and accepted as a suitable place for him to go through his prison sentence.
