The Healer: Najib's perception of crime has to be changed. So what if we have lower crime rate than other countries? Does that mean we are excelling in safeguarding our people's security?

Why not aim to be at the top and not look at who is faring worse than us? Also, the figures have to be further scrutinised to note that there are possibilities that victims do not report all incidences.

Thomas Gan: Anwar Ibrahim had better stop making empty promises. A time may soon come when Malaysians get sick of both him and the BN and may opt for the worst option.

And that worst option is the return of Mahathir and his family to power for life, unelected.

Because in the eyes of many Malaysians, he's the only man who can deliver the goods and protect the country from crime, religious extremism, racism, male chauvinism and economic decline.

And many of them are willing to forgive him for the ISA and the rape of judicial independence because at least, that kept the religious extremists in check.

Oh god, if that happens, an anti-Mahathirist like me will have to flee Malaysia and live in Singapore.

Dr Ng Shu Tsung: I refer to the many recent reports on police raids on gay outlets and I must point out the growing problem where society seem to have misunderstood homosexuality.

It is about time sexuality issues such as homosexuality, trans-sexuality, bisexuality and people living with HIV/Aids be openly discussed rather than issuing laws that certain acts and/or dressing are forbidden.

Gay and lesbian people are often targets of prejudice and ridicule. Due to the fear of being discriminated against, many pretend to lead a normal, married life much to their regret.

Worse still, our health care in Malaysia, to a certain extent, does not cater for the needs of those who are sexually dysfunctional.

It is worth noting that there are also many bath houses and massage parlours mushrooming all over to cater for gays. I think it is time to not continue to sweep matters like these under the carpet.

Now it is the time to take the first bold pro-active action by doing away with legislation that outlaws homosexuality between consenting adults.

I think he should start a campaign to buy underwear for these animals to support his theory that God created tails so animals can hide their genitals.

On the issue of the nude protest, I think it is fair. I've seen such protests in Australia and they certainly get the attention.

KSN: How did the world arrive at this mess? As I understand it, in very recent historical terms, this is what happened. First there was the the ‘liberation' of Afghanistan. Then there was the invation and ocupation of Iraq by the US.

It was a simple decision to control the oil of Iraq, the only country in the region not controlled by the US. Who is in a position to stop and question the real terrorists - Bush, his vice-president and the vested interests?

The above two reasons, very rightly antagonised Muslims of the world and other fair-minded people and countries. The US, the Muslims concluded, had to be taught a lesson.

The destruction of property and the murder of completely innocent people of any and all nationalities and religions, including muslims, did not find any consideration in their revenge.

The latest example is India's ‘Sept 11'. Whether Pakistan is involved is secondary and irrelevant. But Pakistan has been and is the largest and biggest manufacturer and wholesale supplier of the world's terrorists.

Is it that as long as Pakistan is an US and Western ally, it is okay? Some are saying that the Kashmir rebels are behind the Mumbai massacre.

India as a country failed to settle the Kashmiri issue once and for all, even when it had the opportunity like during the Bangladesh war.

So I have a very simple solution for India - just give up Kashmir to Pakistan and China.

I noticed the writer had nothing to say about Muslims who go around killing every innocent civilian they can.
