Another PAS gift to Umno
PAS has taken yet another step that appears aimed at reconciling with Umno.
Party deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man has ordered the party’s members and supporters to vote for BN in seats that Perikatan Nasional is not contesting.
This follows PAS-led PN’s decision to skip 23 seats in the Johor election, which is another major boon for BN.

Johor BN’s RM300 million manifesto
Johor BN’s manifesto contains 63 pledges aimed at getting another mandate to govern the state.
One of the key announcements was RM300 million in funds for social programmes.
This includes RM100 million each to improve access to subsidised housing, education, and interest-free microfinancing.
BN also pledged to introduce a rental deposit payment scheme for young Johoreans, continue its first-home, house entry and rental assistance programmes, as well as exempt hawkers and small traders from first-year business licence fees.
