I would like to give my views to the various comments written by several writers from the various dailies. Commenting o­n the article written by Foong Pek Yee which appeared in The Star o­n April 7, I wish to make the following comments and observations.

I am deeply disappointed with the article by Chan Chee Khoon who has levied much wild accusations against the government and the MMA. I would like to take this opportunity to refute his accusations accordingly:

Saya dengan teliti mengikuti isu sekolah Tamil yang ditimbulkan oleh Datuk M Kayveas. Tetapi sebelum itu, saya juga ingin memberitahu bahawa saya bukan ahli Parti Progresif Rakyat (PPP) ataupun MIC, tetapi warganegara Malaysia keturunan India.

I refer to Paul Ouimette's letter in which he was amused by the diatribe levelleed against the US government. Why should he be?

Like most Astro subscribers, I was absolutely fuming when I received Astro's notice that I have to officially write in to reject their offer of the Emperor package, otherwise it would be deemed that I have agreed to subscribe to that package.

I refer to Nasir Khan's remarks in ' Pak Lah, where's the evidence against ISA-6? '

The human rights report issued by the US State Department said that some "serious problems" remained o­n the part of the Malaysian government in the field of human rights such as "the killing of suspects by police, the torture and abuse of detainees, and the continued use of the Internal Security Act (ISA) to arrest people without trial (read: without reasonable cause).

There are several flaws in Paul Ouimette's recent letter regarding the Iraqi situation. I would like to point out some of the most obvious.
