SARS: 59 suspected cases, 19 under quarantine

Media control to continue in information age

Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad may as well pack up his Cyberjaya and notion of an industrialised nation in 2020.

I am not at all surprised at your report (Gov't orders press not to report SARS death) that the Home Ministry had officially directed all major English-language newspapers to "adjust" their reports on the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) by leaving out any mention of fatalities .
