The untimely and mysterious death of Teoh Beng Hock has shaken the nation and has exposed serious flaws in the way MACC operates.

Thus far, the explanations surrounding his death has created more problems, that only a proper inquiry may resolve. Conjectures can be proven or disproved by incontrovertible facts, thus the need for a credible inquiry.

I read with disgust the statement made by the minister in the Prime Minister's department Mohd Nazri Abdul Aziz.

He appears to have come to the conclusion that a healthy young man who was to be happily married the next day, decided to hop off the MACC building even before the police had finished their investigations.

After listening to Hindraf leader P Uthayakumar's during his July 5th visit to Kg Buah Pala, I believe his demands are reasonable. Here are pertinent points to consider:

1. Lim Guan Eng and Lim Kit Siang blew it. Both have not even visited Kg Buah Pala past 15 months. They cannot claim to be truly knowledgeable about the Indian problems.

Like many of you, I read the news of Teoh with so much anger and frustration. He should not have died that way.

He was not a street criminal, he was not a person with countless criminal records. He was serving the public through his employment with YB Ean. Yet, why did he end up dead like this?
