A top blogger, who is a PAS member, has lodged a complaint against three party leaders over a litany of wrongdoings, including going against the party’s stand on the bai’ah (loyalth oath), ‘Allah’ and unity government issues.

The leaders named were deputy president Nasaruddin Mat Isa, PAS deputy spiritual leader Haron Din and PAS Selangor commissioner Hasan Ali - all linked to the pro-Umno faction in the Islamic party.

NONE Blogger Abdul Rahman Abdul Talib ( left ), who is better known as ‘Tulang Besi’, sent his complaint in the form of a CD to the party headquarters yesterday.

The content of the CD, which was received by PAS secretariat representative Abdul Rahim Saidin, are as follows:   

1. That Hasan and Nasaruddin had revealed party secrets regarding the ‘divorce oath’ to the blogger at Hasan’s home on Oct 25 last year. (The recording of this meeting was revealed in Tulang Besi’s blog last November)

2. The PAS consultative council had approved a working paper written by Haron about holding secret meetings with Umno, which have caused a rift in PAS.

This, Abdul Rahman said, goes against party constitution as the party central committee was not consulted.

3. Haron had gone against the party’s official stand on the use of the word ‘Allah’ by attending a forum that was launched by Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jakim) director on Jan 13.

“This is akin to agreeing with Jakim that the word ‘Allah’ is the exclusive right of Muslims,” Abdul Rahman said.

4. Hasan had made false allegations about the Pakatan Rakyat Selangor government, for example by saying that bumiputera and Malay rights were not considered in the state’s Plug and Play project.

 

“Everyone is responsible in ensuring the party is not wracked with disciplinary issues. If low ranking members can be disciplined, the higher ranking ones must be too,” he said.

Abdul Rahman, who had made complaints via email since last November to no avail, added that he was ready to accept any disciplinary actions leveled against him.
