Malaysia's gold hunt now up to seven athletes
With only four more days to go before the curtains come down on the 2012 London Olympics, Malaysia’s hopes of clinching the first ever gold medal in an Olympics now lie on the shoulders of seven athletes who will be competing in five more events.

Yesterday, the 10th day of the Games, only national divers Yeoh Ken Nee and Huang Qiang were in action, in the men’s 3m springboard event at the Aquatics Centre in London.
The duo booked semifinal slots in contrasting styles.
Yeoh, competing in his second Olympics after Beijing 2008, secured the 10th spot out of the 29 divers who competed in the preliminary rounds while Huang clinched 19th place.
Only the top 18 divers from the preliminary rounds automatically qualified for today’s semifinals.
Huang, however, was put on the reserve list.
Besides Yeoh and Huang, the other Malaysians who still stand a chance to bring glory for the country are cyclist Mohd Azizulhasni Awang who will be in action in the men’s keirin (today), divers Pandelela Rinong anak Pamg and Traisy Vivien Tukiet in the women’s 10m platform (tomorrow), Heidi Gan in the women’s open 10km swimming event (Thursday) and Bryan Nickson Lomas in the men’s 10m platform diving event (Friday).
Today, all eyes will be on Yeoh and Huang who will at the Aquatics Centre and on Mohd Azizulhasni in action in his pet event, the keirin, at the London Velodrome.
