12.15pm: Former state executive councillor Amiruddin Hamzah says PAS would lodge reports with several enforcement agencies over the alleged vote-buying practised by BN in a Felda function yesterday.

"We will refer to Malaysiakini report to get some details and evidence. This is a direct and obvious vote-buying," he says at the PAS headquarters in Padang Lumat, Jerai.

At a 'meet the people' session at a Felda settlement in Simpang Tiga yesterday, some 700 voters in the Sungai Limau constituency were given spectacles worth RM180 and were explicitly told that it was meant to help them vote for their benefactor, BN.

Amiruddin quipped that this was continuation of "You help me, I help you" philosophy embraced by Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.
