Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been described as the “top enemy of the Malay race” by Umno Youth deputy chief Khairul Azwan Harun.

Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) Youth leader Syed Saddiq Abdul Rahman returned salvo, retorting that "cash is king" is the real enemy of the Malays.

Umno information chief Annuar Musa has urged the public not to forget that Mahathir had once treated DAP, PKR and Anwar Ibrahim as enemies.
