PAS has only contempt for PKR, so why grovel to them?

YOURSAY | ‘You are fooling yourself that PAS will work with PKR.’

Wan Azizah: PAS will lose support if it goes for jugular in S’gor

Basically: As much as I believe PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail is a good person, I hate to say this to her, but “padan muka” fits the bill. And for Selangor MB Azmin Ali too, who deserves the slap.

I can understand trying to win over PAS grassroots and sincere leaders, but talking to PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang can only mean one thing: Give the enemy what he wants for something in return, which you may never get, judging from his lack of sincerity.

The hard fact is PAS is now headed by compromised leaders, who have openly shown they are under the thumbs of Pakatan Harapan's main enemy.

Worried Sick: The entire problem rests with Azmin; he is neither here nor there. He has forgotten the principles of Harapan and is only worried about his position as MB. He thinks that if he does not have PAS by his side, his position as MB will be in jeopardy after GE14.

The people in Selangor are highly educated and will only vote for a principled party. Azmin must immediately make a stand and rally the opposition parties. If not, he is committing 'hara-kiri', not only to himself but Harapan as well.

Foureyes: Sorry, Wan Azizah, you seem to going around in circles. You and Azmin want to continue to talk to PAS while the rest in Harapan are preparing for the GE. You are fooling yourself that PAS will work with PKR.

You are a fine woman so people show you respect but if you are unable to be firm as a leader, then please step down and let someone else in PKR lead. Perhaps pass the leadership over to your own daughter Nurul Izzah, but certainly not to Azmin.

RM2.6 Billion Turkey Haram: Wan Azizah, enough is enough. Will you please stop accommodating the PAS nonsense?

By now, if you and Azmin cannot see PAS’ motives, and its support for Umno, both of you are not fit to be leaders.

PAS is doomed in the coming election in Selangor or Kedah. The people can see the ulterior motives in Hadi, whose heart and soul are with Najib.

The people know that a vote for PAS is a vote for Umno. So, would you stop courting PAS?

PAS wants Gombak back, Azmin in peril?

Awang Top: Now Azmin, where is the respect PAS shown to you and your president? If you play with PAS, you ought to understand that it will bite you mercilessly.

Multi Racial: PAS won seats in Selangor and Wilayah because they were part of the opposition team and they get votes from all walks of life, including those from non-Muslims.

Now they are with Umno, I would be very surprise if they win a single state or parliamentary seat. They are likely to be wipe out of Selangor and Federal Territory map.

Anonymous 2460391489930458: Let's see how Azmin responds to this. Is he principled enough to stand his ground, go head-to-head against his "godfather" PAS, or will he do the infamous Umno/BN-styled leap to PAS.

This will show if he is worthy to be regarded as a genuine Harapan leader.

Joe Lee: PKR and Azmin have no core electoral support; whether PAS co-operates with them or not, the MB will have to come from either Bersatu or Amanah – that is, if Harapan wins the next election.

That is because we can expect PKR to lose seats.

Hank Marvin: Serve you right, Azmin. All this while you have been working hard to suppress Amanah in Selangor, but now PAS is showing its true colours.

A few days ago, your lackeys claimed that Amanah only have 1 percent support in Selangor.

Hang Tuah PJ: PAS, you stand in my area, Chempaka, you are not getting my vote. If you stand against BN, I will spoil my vote. Both of you are not deserving of my vote.

'If you're a man, play against Johor team' – Sultan's polo dare

Demi Rakyat: The fault lies with Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin since it is he who has brought politics into sports. It is he who wants to "look good" and have the focus on himself whatever the cost.

Khairy must learn not to be arrogant. He needs to put sports and the rakyat ahead of politics and himself. Then and only then, he can contribute to our nation.

Anonymous 2401191456463140: Tuanku (Johor Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar), I've never been interested in a polo game. But, for this challenge, you bet, I'll be there rain or shine.

Of course, my support is for the Johor team.

Anonymous_1395464675: Your Highness, if you noticed, his style of gaining popularity is to take advantage of other people success and take credit on that.

This is what he has been doing lately and thinks the public can be fool by his action.

Johor sultan grants audience to KJ a day after polo dare

Aries46: Put plainly, is such false representations and hypocrisy worthy of the colours he (Khairy) wears?

And if such is his disposition in sports - the very epitome of human endeavour signifying sportsmanship - just imagine him in other more serious and challenging pursuits that concerns one's family and status in life.

What is even worse in this case is his involvement in an international meet where we are the hosts and our nation's integrity and glory is at stake.

HRH (His Royal Highness) must name and shame this person if he has abused his position for self-glorification.

Wira: Are we being led to believe that the Malaysian polo team for the SEA Games is actually an Umno team, whereas the best team in the country is cold-storaged in Johor?
