BN's Kuang assemblyperson Abdul Shukur Idrus took aim at Selangor Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali for purportedly failing to come to the defence of Selangor ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.

This followed the Selangor ruler expressing his displeasure at Pakatan Harapan chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad's "Bugis pirate" comment, pointing out that the Selangor sultanate also has a Bugis bloodline.

Azmin is also Pakatan Harapan deputy president.
