Pakatan Harapan will try to fulfil all of its general election pledges even if it does not capture Putrajaya in the 14th general election, said the coalition's secretariat chief Saifuddin Abdullah.

"We will implement them across the board," he told a press conference at the Opposition Leader's office in Parliament today.

Saifuddin said Harapan's national manifesto will contain 60 pledges, which it will try to implement at the state level if it is unable to capture federal power.

At present, Harapan is the incumbent government in Selangor and Penang.

"Every state has its own manifesto. It's like a mini-manifesto that is more localised. Sabah and Sarawak (Harapan) already launched theirs in September last year," he said.

Harapan is set to officially unveil the details of the manifesto in a ceremony tomorrow.

Among the key items that will be included is a two-term limit for the posts of prime minister, chief minister and menteri besar.

Other aspects include reforms to institutions, empowering the civil service, and devolving power to East Malaysia.

Apart from the 60 pledges to be fulfilled within five years, Harapan will also have 10 goals that it will seek to implement within the first 100 days, should it come to power after the polls.
