For long-time Ampang resident Rahmah Yahya, 51, the past 10 years have brought about a lot of changes in terms of benefits gained from the present Selangor government’s policies.

The housewife, who has lived in Ampang for 30 years told Malaysiakini that she now has less worries about the future of her children, all of whom were also born and raised in Selangor.

"I am a Selangorian true and true," said Rahmah while seeking shelter from the storm that hit Shah Alam yesterday afternoon, as she waited to enter Stadium Malawati for the Karnival Himpunan Rakyat to commemorate the Pakatan Rakyat-Pakatan Harapan state-government's 10th year in power.
