Najib implicated in Morais trial

Najib Abdul Razak is now alleged to have offered RM3.5 million to S Ravi Chandaran, an accused in the murder of deputy public prosecutor Kevin Morais, in exchange for a guilty plea.

Najib termed the accusation “ludicrous” and “mischievous”.

The former prime minister also hit out at those who blamed him for “everything”, sarcastically saying that people should also blame him for the bad weather if they’re late to work.

Saiful calls Anwar an inspiration

Independent candidate for Port Dickson Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan called his opponent and former boss Anwar Ibrahim his political inspiration.

Nevertheless, Saiful said that he stood by his 2008 police report in which he accused Anwar of sodomising him.

Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said he has never formally apologised to Anwar for sacking him in 1998.

Anwar, however, said he never asked for an apology, and is content enough that he and Mahathir are now working together.
