PAS sees Umno as a sinking ship

PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang said Umno was a sinking ship that could drag down PAS if the two parties join forces.

Umno information chief Shamsul Anuar Nasarah said PAS should not worry about Umno as it was experiencing a similar situation as PAS before when its MPs defected to Amanah. 

DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang criticised PAS and MCA for nudging DAP to quit Harapan. 

PAS' Pasir Mas MP Fadhli Shaari said Lim's advocacy for equality was "Amanat Kit Siang" which he described as more dangerous than "Amanat Hadi" which labelled PAS political opponents as "kafir".

DPM warns against stoking religious tensions

Deputy Prime Minister Wan Azizah Wan Ismail warned of action against those stoking religious tensions

At a Christmas hi-tea event, she also shared how she had nuns as teachers during her school days. 

PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan wished Malaysians a Merry Christmas despite his party youth chief Muhammad Khalil Abdul Hadi's warning to Muslims against "unnecessarily" making public greetings of "Merry Christmas". 

Malaysian Churches Council acting president Bishop Ong Hwai Tek asked the Christian community to pray for a just and benevolent government.

Threat to attack police station

Jaringan Melayu Malaysia president Azwanddin Hamzah has threatened to attack the Klang police station if those who triggered the riots near the Seafield Sri Maha Mariamman riots were not apprehended. 

At a rally in Klang, Azwanddin also called Minister in the Prime Minister's Department P Waythamoorthy using the P-word which is deemed derogatory to Indians. 

Gerakan Rakyat Malaysia (Geras), which organised the rally, criticised Azwanddin's speech, claiming that he did not comply with their instructions not to make provocative statements. 

Primary Industries Minister Teresa Kok said she plans to take legal action against Azwanddin for linking her to the riots that took place near the temple in Subang Jaya last month.

Selangor PAS Ulama deputy chief Ahmad Dusuki Abdul Rani has warned against committing vice while sharing a video of Indonesian pop band Seventeen performing shortly before being swept away by a tsunami.
