MCA battles Nazri and eight things that happened yesterday

1. MCA revived its feud with BN secretary-general Nazri Abdul Aziz after he played the race card in the Semenyih by-election, complaining that it will backfire on the coalition.

2. The US Department of Justice, in its newest filing to seize more assets allegedly misappropriated from 1MDB, highlighted businessperson Jho Low's role in transferring US$10 million to Malaysian Official 1 on the pretext of projects in Islam's two holiest sites, Mecca and Madinah.

3. MACC said it did not find any 1MDB funds ending up in PAS' official party accounts, prompting PAS to hail the statement and threatening to sue anyone who perpetuates such allegations.
