1. Apart from Bersatu's Karmaine Sardini and MCA's Wee Jeck Seng, four other candidates will vie for the Tanjung Piai seat in a by-election, namely Berjasa's Badhrulhisham Abdul Aziz, Gerakan's Wendy Subramaniam and independent candidates Ang Chuan Lock and Faridah Aryani Abd Ghaffar.
