Several NGOs have urged the police to investigate allegations that Yusoff Rawther could be a proxy or agent for Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad.

The call stems from the former research assistant to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s statement in 2017 in support of Israel’s existence, as well as his rejection of Arab nations’ claims over Baitulmaqdis (Jerusalem), which they argue runs contrary to Malaysia’s official position.
