Malaysian productions made a remarkable impression at the 62nd Golden Horse Awards held yesterday, securing multiple wins in what is regarded as one of the country’s most significant achievements at the prestigious film festival to date.

Among the highlights was the Chong Keat Aun-directed “Mother Bhumi”, which won three major awards: Best Original Film Song (Penny Dai), Best Cinematography (Liang Mingjia) and Best Actress awarded to Chinese superstar Fan Bingbing.
