• DAP has moved the venue of a fundraising dinner in Subang Jaya from SJK(C) Chee Wen to USJ1 Regalia Business Centre.

  The move, announced yesterday by Subang Jaya assemblyperson Michelle Ng, came a day after Bersama cried foul after it was barred from hosting a fundraiser at a school hall, while calling out DAP for doing the same.

  

  In a social media post, Ng said: “At the core of DAP’s principles is integrity. We maintain a strict separation between political party operations and public funds.”

• Bersama co-leader Rafizi Ramli said the party received more than 70 applications for potential candidates in the Johor polls.

  The party is expected to announce who and where it will contest on Friday.

  

  Rafizi also downplayed the party’s chances at the polls, saying that Johor will serve as a gauge of how much support the party has so that it can make improvements.
