PAS apologises to Lau
PAS has apologised to Gerakan president Dominic Lau over the latter being snubbed from a PN ceramah in Bayan Lepas last week.
The PAS leadership also ordered the party's grassroots to assist and protect Lau and Gerakan.
The Bayan Lepas candidate accepted the apology and considered the hatchet buried.
However, Penang PAS secretary Iszuree Ibrahim - who had snubbed Lau - kept mum on the party leadership's directive to assist Gerakan.
Penang PAS chief Muhammad Fauzi Yusoff also said that the state party machinery had no one to spare to help Lau.
Iszuree was supposed to contest in Bayan Lepas before Lau got the Malay-majority seat.

Sanusi fires on Amirudin
Kedah caretaker menteri besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor has taken another shot at his Selangor counterpart Amirudin Shari.
This time, Sanusi alleged that Amirudin and the state government were embroiled in a scandal with Berjaya Group founder Vincent Tan in a Sungai Klang river cleaning project.
Sanusi claimed that Selangor could incur losses to the tune of RM180 million because of the project.
Both Amirudin and Berjaya have denied the allegations and are moving to sue Sanusi.
Sanusi said he will prove his allegations in court.

Youth politicians debate
Muda president Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman will be facing Pakatan Harapan Youth chief Kelvin Yii and their PAS counterpart Ahmad Fadhli Shaari in a debate.
The debate will be about the future of the youth.
Details of the event have not been announced but are expected to take place before the end of the campaigning period.
Syed Saddiq has originally invited PKR Youth chief Adam Adli Abdul Halim to represent the government but the latter said he would only take up such a challenge after the state elections.
