Royal U Mobile
The Johor royal family is set to be the largest shareholder in U Mobile.
Johor princess Tunku Aminah Sultan Ibrahim and tycoon Vincent Tan are set to get a 28 percent stake in the telco.
Tunku Aminah's effective stake will be 8.5 percent, and when combined with Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar's 22.3 percent shareholdings, the family will own 30.8 percent of U Mobile.
Tan, meanwhile, will own around 22.2 percent.
Together, the Johor royals and Tan will have majority control over the telco, which had been appointed the country's second 5G network operator.

Hajiji 'blackmailed'
The whistleblower behind the alleged Sabah corruption scandal had purportedly blackmailed Chief Minister Hajiji Noor.
FMT quoted a source saying the businessperson had also wanted to bribe Hajiji.
Both stick and carrot were reportedly an effort to get mining exploration licences.
However, Hajiji is reported to have "stood his ground".
Police said they had not received any police reports regarding either the bribe or threats.

BN ‘bullied’
MCA president Wee Ka Siong wants BN leaders to show a united front so they don't get bullied by others.
Wee cited himself as a victim of such bullying by a fellow government MP in his attempt to correct Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli last month.
He also hit out against an unnamed BN lawmaker whom he accused of "glorifying" other parties.
