PAS turns term limits into 3R issue
PAS has somehow managed to turn a push to enact prime minister term limits into a race and religion issue.
PAS Youth chief Afnan Hamimi Taib Azamudden painted it as an attempt by "minorities" to dictate the fates of the "majority" since DAP reinvigorated the proposal.
Meanwhile, PAS assistant secretary-general Syahir Sulaiman said term limits can be discussed if it also comes with an amendment stating that the prime minister must be Muslim.
Currently, the Federal Constitution does not have race or religion criteria for the prime minister.
On the same issue, Perak Menteri Besar Saarani Mohamad - who is from BN - said prime minister term limits need to be studied comprehensively.
He warned that it could be detrimental to limit a "visionary leader" from helming the country.

Fast-ing Furious
A man in Johor took the expression "hangry" (anger due to hunger) to another level when he smacked a non-Muslim simply for eating at a convenience store.
The incident sparked outrage, including from National Unity Minister Aaron Ago Dagang, who said such provocative actions must be stopped.
Police have taken a statement from the victim and aggressor, and will be wrapping up their probe soon.
