Who is funding Bersama?
Parti Bersama Malaysia co-de facto leader Rafizi Ramli dunked accusations that he has a mega donor behind him, and that it might be Na’imah Abdul Khalid - widow of the late Daim Zainuddin.
Instead, he said Bersama has mostly been funded by himself and the public.
Thus far, he said he has spent around RM80,000 of his own money, while another RM750,000 has been raised through membership fees, merchandise sales, and contributions.
The funds are being used to gear up for elections, among others, and Rafizi plans to raise even more money at a fundraising dinner on June 27.
