Pakatan Harapan's prime ministerial candidate Dr Mahathir Mohamad was warmly received at a Putrajaya night market, with scores of people looking to shake his hand and take selfies with him.

Najib fails to strike out widow’s suit

The High Court in Kuala Lumpur dismissed an application to strike out a suit filed by Santamil Selvi, the widow of private investigator P Balasubramaniam, against Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak and his wife Rosmah Mansor.

Najib said he is waiting for a "spark" before calling for the 14th general election.

The prime minister claimed elections are more transparent now than during Mahathir’s rule, and insisted that there would be no room for cheating.
