TMJ's 'perfectionist' tweet causes stir; Hadi spars with Anwar

KINI ROUNDUP | Here are the key headlines you may have missed yesterday, in brief.

TMJ takes issue with 'perfectionist' tweet

Johor Crown Prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim's tweet about the term “perfectionist” has set tongues wagging.

This is due to speculation that it could be aimed at Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman for calling Dr Mahathir Mohamad a perfectionist.

Mahathir, in a talk in London, said that he was still himself and operates in his usual style.

Hadi Awang spars with Anwar

PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang questioned why Pakatan Harapan’s Port Dickson candidate Anwar Ibrahim did not contest in a Muslim-majority seat, adding that his practice of Islam was inconsistent.

Anwar shot back, saying it was PAS that used to accompany him to temples when they were allies in Pakatan Rakyat.

Anwar said he was tired of being accused of sodomy after new allegations surfaced.
