Jaringan Melayu Malaysia (JMM) president Azwanddin Hamzah should go for a mental health check-up, said de facto Deputy Law Minister Hanipa Maidin.
Hanipa said this is because Azwanddin appeared to be "addicted" to creating chaos.
"I pity the JMM president, who is quite addicted to making controversial and racist statements, and appears to want to create unease and chaos in our peaceful country.
"Honestly, I am not sure how sane he is. I think it is best if he gets examined by a traditional medicine practitioner or a psychologist," Hanipa said in a statement today.
At a rally in Klang yesterday, Azwanddin had threatened to attack the Klang police station if those who triggered the riots near Seafield Sri Maha Mariamman riots were not apprehended.
He also insulted Minister in the Prime Minister's Department P Waythamoorthy using the P-word, which is deemed derogatory to Indians.
His speech was condemned by rally organiser Gerakan Rakyat Malaysia (Geras).
Meanwhile, Primary Industries Minister Teresa Kok said she plans to take legal action against Azwanddin for linking her to the Seafield temple riots.
