Pahang regent chairs a special Royal Council meeting
The outcome of the special meeting by the Pahang Royal Council will be made known tomorrow at Istana Abu Bakar, Pahang.
The Regent of Pahang Tengku Abdullah (above) today chaired a special meeting for three hours today at a Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
Pahang state secretary Sallehuddin Ishak told reporters curtly after the meeting: There will be an announcement at the Istana Abu Bakar, Pekan at 3pm tomorrow".

He refused requests for details, so did Tengku Abdullah.
"Thank you all. No comment," said the regent.
Also seen entering the meeting hall earlier were the royal family members, Pekan MP Najib Abdul Razak and Pahang Menteri Besar Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail.
The former bears the Pahang court title of Orang Kaya Indera Shahbandar which denotes him as one of the Orang Besar Berempat Pahang.
"Please pray for the best," Tengku Abdullah told the media before the meeting started.
The meeting agenda was not made known.
Earlier, Tengku Abdullah witnessed the appointment of Sallehuddin Ishak as Pahang state secretary in a small ceremony attended by Wan Rosdy, Najib, several Pahang MPs and a number of state government department heads.
Local media has speculated that Tengku Abdullah is expected to be installed as the sixth Sultan of Pahang, taking over form his ailing father Sultan Ahmad Shah.
This, in turn, will pave the way for the ascension of Tengku Abdullah as the next Yang Di-Pertuan Agong based on the current rotation system.
On Monday, the Conference of Rulers held a special meeting in Istana Negara following the unprecedented resignation of Kelantan's Sultan Muhammad V as the 15th Yang Di-Pertuan Agong.
The Conference of Rulers has set Jan 24 to elect the next Yang Di-Pertuan Agong with the swearing-in ceremony to take place on Jan 31.
Until the new ruler is elected, Perak ruler Sultan Nazrin Shah, who is the deputy Yang Di-Pertuan Agong, will serve as the acting king.
