What is Bandar Malaysia?

Bandar Malaysia is the name of a real estate project located in what is colloquially referred to as the Sungai Besi airport.

The centrepiece of the project was supposed to be the integrated transport hub, which will host the northernmost station for the now temporarily suspended Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail project.

Other plans for the 196.7ha acre project includes facilities for business, tourism and residential units.

The project was supposed to be developed by 1MDB, but never took off...
