PM chairs usual NSC daily meeting amid rumours of emergency declaration

Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin has chaired his usual daily National Security Council (NSC) meeting on Covid-19 today, a day after the cabinet reportedly approved a proposal to declare a state of emergency.

According to a post on Muhyiddin's Facebook page, the prime minister stressed on the need to establish a detailed mid-term to long-term plan to protect the people's livelihood and sustain the economy, as well as to address the people's needs at today's meeting.
