GOVERNMENT FACILITIES

- Petaling Jaya police lock-up

Petaling Jaya district police chief Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal today said that he has been ordered to go under 14-day quarantine until Nov 23 after coming into close contact with a detainee who had since been tested positive for Covid-19.

In a statement, he said that there were seven lock-ups under the PJ police's jurisdiction but did not specify which lock-up was affected.

All detainees at the affected lock-up have since been tested for the virus and they are being isolated pending results.


HEALTHCARE FACILITIES

- Klinik Dr Akmal Saleh, Bandar Merlimau Utara, Malacca

The polyclinic is closed temporarily starting yesterday for disinfection after a patient tested positive for Covid-19.

The patient is believed to be one of the 10 cases in the BMU cluster announced today.

Staff members have been screened, with six testing negative so far, the polyclinic said.

- Lahad Datu Hospital, Sabah

According to the Health Ministry, six of its staff attached to this hospital are the index cases of the Haven Cluster. As of noon Thursday, the cluster has 12 positive cases.

Based on a Facebook post by a doctor at the hospital which had since gone viral, the healthcare workers infected are doctors and medical assistants.


RESIDENCES

- The Peak Residences, Tanjong Bungah, Penang

A resident of Block C has tested positive, the management said in a notice to residents yesterday. Areas which could have been contaminated have been disinfected.

- PV10 Platinum Lake Condominium, Taman Danau Kota, Kuala Lumpur

A resident of Block C Level 22 tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday, the management said in a notice to residents.

A professional disinfectant company has been appointed to disinfect Block C and other common areas including the guardhouse, lift lobbies, management office, the surau and the public toilet. 

- Pangsapuri Rimbun, Balik Pulau, Penang

A Covid-19 case was detected here on Nov 10, the management said in a notice.

The management said the affected areas have been sanitised, Kwong Wah Daily reported.

- Pangsapuri Taman Sri Angasana, Bayan Lepas, Penang

Several residents of this apartment block have tested positive for Covid-19, the joint management body said in a notice on Nov 9, China Press reported.

- Perumahan Awam Seri Kelantan, Sentul, Kuala Lumpur

A case was detected at Block C last week, Batu MP P Prabakaran said.

According to a notice to residents, disinfection of common areas and retail outlets was done on Nov 10.


BUSINESSES

- Renesas factory, Bayan Lepas, Penang

At least seven employees from two workers' dormitories have tested positive for Covid-19, Guang Ming Daily reported.

All employees at the semiconductor facility are undergoing screening.
