- Maisson Residence Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor

The management body for this condominium issued a notice yesterday (Dec 20) saying that a resident at Block 5 has been tested positive for Covid-19.

Following this, the management has carried out sanitisation works at the premises.

Visitors are still allowed into Maisson, except for Block 5.

- Soho Suites KLCC, Kuala Lumpur

A resident at Level 7 of Block A3 has been tested positive for Covid-19, this is according to a Dec 19 notice issued by the management of this upmarket residence.

It said they have taken the necessary measures following the incident, including to disinfect all possible contaminated areas and offering practical assistance to the occupant in the unit.

- The Tamarind, Sentul East, Kuala Lumpur

A resident at Block C has been tested positive for Covid-19, according to a Dec 19 notice issued by the management body of this condominium.

It said that following the incident, they will be conducting disinfection at all common areas of all blocks in the condominium complex, and intensify daily disinfection activities.

- PPR Desa Rejang, Kuala Lumpur

A positive Covid-19 case was detected at Block K of this flat complex, according to a Facebook post by its residents' association today.

It posted several photos showing sanitisation works being carried out by the association on Dec 19.

- Taman Teratai, Kulai, Johor

According to the Kulai District Health Office, a Covid-19 case was detected at this locality today.

- Changkat View Condominium, Jalan Dutamas Raya, Kuala Lumpur

A resident of Block A tested positive for Covid-19 today, and was taken to hospital, the management said.

All affected common areas will be sanitised soon, it said in a notice to residents.


- Uro Technology Sdn Bhd, Pontian, Johor

Several workers of this company that produces catheter and medical urinary products have been tested positive for Covid-19.

According to a spokesperson for its parent company Karex Berhad, the cases were discovered during a periodical screening activity conducted by Uro Technology.

It is learnt that the cases were part of the Batu 39 cluster announced by the Health Ministry yesterday.

- Panasonic Manufacturing Malaysia Bhd, Shah Alam, Selangor

The company issued a notice to Bursa Malaysia today, informing that 116 of its 2,137 workers screened for Covid-19 have tested positive.

Following this, they are ceasing operations temporarily until further notice under the advice of the Petaling District Health Office.

The facility is closed from today until Dec 23 to allow disinfection activities.


- Ipoh Parade, Ipoh, Perak

A promoter at Watsons outlet in Ipoh Parade tested positive for Covid-19, according to a statement issued by the shopping mall today.

The management said Watsons has performed disinfection and sanitisation at the outlet before the mall opened for business this morning.

All common areas in the mall have also been sanitised as per health authority guidelines.
