Bossku does not end here - Najib's daughter

Najib Abdul Razak's daughter Nooryana Najwa has pledged to keep on fighting until "justice is served".

"Maybe we didn’t fight hard enough. Maybe we placed our fullest trust in our justice system.

"Maybe we believed whole-heartedly in our cause and purpose so we stood defiant these past four years.

"Yet you did not get your day of justice today nor did we stand a fighting chance.

"But 'Bossku' (a moniker used to describe Najib) does not end here," she said in an Instagram post this evening.

Nooryana said her mother and siblings would not rest until Najib returned to them safely.

"We are so proud of your strength.

"I will hold onto your parting words of wisdom with me every day, 'they can control everything but they cannot control your emotions and strength of mind'…

"Stay strong, Allah is with you, my father. Always with you, for now, and always…," she added.

Rosmah’s verdict on Sept 1

Nooryana's mother, Rosmah Mansor, will know her fate on Sept 1 when the Kuala Lumpur High Court delivers its verdict on her corruption trial linked to the RM1.25 billion Sarawak rural schools’ solar energy project.

Earlier today, the Federal Court upheld Najib's conviction and 12-year prison term with regard to the SRC International case.

The former premier must also settle a fine of RM210 million, failing which he would have to spend another five years behind bars.

Following the verdict, Najib was taken to the Kajang Prisons Complex to serve his sentence.
