China Masters: Chen-Toh break 'Great Wall' to reach final
Newly crowned mixed doubles world champions Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei produced an amazing performance to oust world No 1 home pair Feng Yan Zhe-Huang Dong Ping to storm into the final of the China Masters 2025, today.
In the semi-final showdown at the Shenzhen Arena, the Malaysian pair displayed grit and composure to outlast the defending champions in a thrilling three-setter, prevailing 22-24, 21-19, 21-17 after 80 minutes.

The victory was Chen-Toh’s third in nine encounters against the formidable Chinese pair.
The Malaysians will next face Thailand’s Decaphol Puavaranukroh-Supissara Paewsampran in their bid to capture the prestigious title.
For the first time since the China Masters’ inception in 2005, the final will see a non-Chinese pair crowned champions.
