PAS and Umno will be joining forces once again on Jan 6.
The two will be rallying to show support for Najib Abdul Razak.
On that day, the Court of Appeal will be hearing Najib's bid to unearth a royal addendum granting him house arrest.
PAS' goal is to show the Madani government to respect the Federal Constitution and rule of law.
Separately, the Attorney-General's Chambers announced a new obstacle for Najib.

PAS and the Grinch
PAS embodied the Grinch for Christmas this year after DAP minister Nga Kor Ming posted a video of ministry staff singing carols.
PAS Youth argued that it is wrong for Nga to have carollers sing to Muslims.
It is unclear if the party also believes that Muslims must wear ear plugs when going to shopping malls that play Christmas music.
Nga retorted by calling PAS bigots and extremists.
PAS in turn accused DAP of politicising their criticism, while also threatening to sue Nga for his remarks.
Separately, Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh is also being targeted by right-wingers after the High Court dismissed her defamation suit against former IGP Musa Hassan for claiming that she wanted Malaysia to be a Christian country.

Sabah graft receipts
The whistleblower in the Sabah graft scandal has released incriminating screenshots of WhatsApp chats he had with the politicians he bribed.
This included texts with Deputy Chief Minister III Shahelmey Yahya, who asked for a "package" to be wrapped.
The whistleblower claimed this was the first instalment of an alleged RM400,000 bribe.
He also released screenshots of his conversations with assemblypersons who were supposed to pay him back RM500,000 and RM400,000 respectively.

TNB tariff revision
Tenaga Nasional Bhd announced on Dec 26 a proposal to raise electricity tariffs in the peninsula effective July 1 next year.
After backlash, TNB assured that there will be no tariff hikes for 85 percent of users from Jan 1 until June 30 - the period before it is proposing a hike to be implemented.
The government in turn said it had not yet decided on tariff hikes, while Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said that hikes would only affect the "mahakaya".
