Zahid keeps BN on Madani collision course
BN chief Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is keeping his coalition on course to collide with Madani-partner Pakatan Harapan in the Johor state election.
Zahid said he is in the midst of finalising a list of candidates for all 56 seats.
It’s not clear whether Pakatan Harapan chief Anwar Ibrahim has met Zahid to discuss a possible deal to avoid clashes.
Meanwhile, the Negeri Sembilan legislature was also dissolved effective midnight, with Harapan planning to contest all seats and push BN out.
However, there’s also speculation that the state’s royal crisis may have a new dramatic episode on Friday.

Another PKR MP loses govt funds
Pakatan Harapan - the party that promised to give equal funding to all MPs, including the opposition - has punished yet another rogue lawmaker from their own coalition.
Petaling Jaya MP Lee Chean Chung - who is allied with Rafizi Ramli and co - has lost access to the website managing constituency funds just like Subang MP Wong Chen.
The Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU) at the Prime Minister’s Department said it would ensure that the two constituencies continue to receive funding, but indicated it may be without the two PKR MPs’ involvement.
It is believed they are being punished for supporting Rafizi and his new party, Bersama.
