Azmin: Former MB Khalid also froze accounts
Selangor Menteri Besar Mohamad Azmin Ali denied that the freezing of funds to assist former MB Khalid Ibrahim's constituency was an act of revenge.
Selangor Menteri Besar Mohamad Azmin Ali denied that the freezing of funds to assist former MB Khalid Ibrahim's constituency was an act of revenge.
He brushed it off as normal procedure that Khalid himself had followed in his tenure, when six state excos were sacked , and also in the case of former Pelabuhan Klang state assemblyman Badrul Hisham Abdullah.
"There's no element of revenge. It was the same practice Khalid himself had used.
"It's adminstrative practice. The programmes will still be continued and those who deserve will be assisted," said Azmin today.
When asked if he has any animosity against Khalid, Azmin said, "No. He is my friend."
She added it was “vindictive politics” against Khalid, who she said had served the people, party and Pakatan.
