Chaos reigned on the first day of the PKR polls with flaring tensions over a faulty e-voting system prompting nine divisions in Kedah to suspend elections.

All results in Kedah were later invalidated.

PKR polls in Perak, Perlis, Negeri Sembilan and Malacca have also been postponed.

A press conference announcing the postponements ended in more chaos, with chairs being used as weapons as PKR members fought each other.

Shuttler Lee Chong Wei diagnosed with cancer

National badminton star Lee Chong Wei was diagnosed with early-stage nasal cancer.

Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail called on all Malaysians to pray for Lee's good health.

Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman also urged Malaysians to respect Lee's privacy.
