Anwar: If video is legitimate, Azmin must resign

"My initial view is for him not to resign. It will depend on investigations. If the investigation is conclusive, in terms of the participants of the act, then I think he needs to resign.
"But if we haven't ascertained the truth and the veracity of the people in the videos, then he has the option," said Anwar when asked by reporters at the Parliament lobby if Azmin should step down.
Anwar was asked this following PKR information chief Shamsul Iskandar Md Akin's salvo at Azmin yesterday, urging the latter not to "hide" behind Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
Mahathir has dismissed allegations against Azmin and suggested that it was a smear campaign.
On June 12, a coordinated campaign was launched to distribute video clips which depicted a man that looked like Azmin in bed with another man.
Elected Santubong PKR Youth leader Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz eventually came forward and said he was one of the two men in the video.
Azmin has denied the allegation.
On Monday, Haziq and five others were arrested over the distribution of obscene material and committing carnal intercourse.
Yesterday, three more individuals, including one of Anwar's aides, were arrested in connection to case as well.
