Kedah is bracing for a new menteri besar now that the position of Bersatu deputy president Mukhriz Mahathir appeared precarious.

Mukhriz said yesterday he was prepared to face disciplinary action from Bersatu for not supporting current prime minister and acting party chairperson Muhyiddin Yassin.
