BUSINESSES

- ESH Electrical, Bangsar Shopping Centre, Kuala Lumpur

A staff member tested positive for Covid-19 on the evening of Jan 12, the store said.

He was last at the premises on Jan 10.

The outlet was closed immediately for sanitation, while other staff have been tested and are undergoing quarantine.

- Riverbank Music Cafe, Jalan Kampung Hulu, Malacca

An employee at the cafe tested positive for Covid-19, the cafe said on Tuesday.

Customers who visited the cafe between Dec 31 and Jan 11 are advised to seek Covid-19 testing.

Other staff will undergo testing and quarantine pending their result.

- Suukee Satay, Kota Syahbandar, Malacca

The restaurant said on its Facebook on Jan 13 that the owner's family member had tested positive for Covid-19.

As a precautionary measure, all restaurant staff will get tested and quarantine pending the results.

The shop will close until further notice for disinfection.

Customers who visited the shop between Dec 29 and Jan 12 are advised to get tested if they feel unwell.

RESIDENCES

- Palm Spring @ Damansara, Kota Damansara, Selangor

The management said a resident from Block A Level 8 had tested positive for Covid-19 on Jan 11.

All affected areas have been sanitised.

- Midfields 1 Condominium, Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur

The management confirmed in a notice dated Jan 13 that a resident from Block A2 had tested positive for Covid-19.

Additional sanitisation will be carried out at the common areas.

- Midfields 2 Condominium, Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur

The management confirmed in a notice dated Jan 12 that a resident from Block D2 had tested positive for Covid-19.

Disinfection and sanitisation was carried out at all common areas.

- Savanna Executive Suites, Dengkil, Selangor

The management had confirmed that one resident from Block C2 and two residents from Block B2 have tested positive for Covid-19.

All affected areas have been sanitised.

- One Menerung, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur

A total of 17 security guards here have tested positive for Covid-19 using the Antigen test.

They will undergo a second test using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test.

On Jan 12, One Menerung reported that a resident's personal bodyguard tested positive for Covid-19.

- Menara Simfoni, Seri Kembangan, Selangor

A resident tested positive for Covid-19, the management said in a notice dated Jan 11.

The resident felt chills and unwell on Jan 5 and tested positive the next day.

The management was informed on Jan 11 and has taken steps to disinfect possibly contaminated areas.

- Various localities in Kulai, Johor

Below are locations where Covid-19 cases were detected in Kulai yesterday, as published by the Kulai Health Office.

- Setiasky Residences, Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur

Another resident of Tower A tested positive for Covid-19 on Jan 11, the second since Dec 26 last year.

The management said it has disinfected all possibly contaminated areas.

- Danau Permai Condominium, Taman Danau Desa, Kuala Lumpur

A resident of Block 10 tested positive for Covid-19, the management said in a notice dated Jan 9.

Possibly contaminated areas have been disinfected, it said.

- Seringin Residence, Taman Gembira, Kuala Lumpur

A resident of Level 14, Block BE (Thyme) tested positive for Covid-19 and was taken to hospital on Jan 11, the management said.

The affected areas have been sanitised while common facilities are closed.

- Various residential areas in Kedah

The Kedah Health Department yesterday released a list of residential localities where Covid-19 cases were recorded on Jan 12:

 

- PPAM Metropolitan Kepong, Kuala Lumpur

The management confirmed there have been two new Covid-19 cases detected among its residents.

One of the patients has been hospitalised while the other is still waiting at home, the notice said.

- Soho Suites KLCC, Kuala Lumpur

The management said in a notice dated Jan 13 that one resident from Block B2 Level 33 had tested positive for Covid-19.

Sanitisation and disinfection were immediately carried out.

- Suasana Lumayan Condominium, Bandar Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur

The management said in a notice that residents from Block B, C and D have tested positive for Covid-19 on Jan 13.

All common areas have been sanitised.

- Puri Ayu Condominium, Shah Alam, Selangor

The management said in a notice that another Covid-19 case has been detected in the condominium on Jan 9.

The new patient had contact with an earlier infected person from Block A.

All common areas have been disinfected and sanitised.

- Green Avenue Condominium, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur

The management said in a notice dated Jan 13 that a resident from Block B had tested positive for Covid-19.

Sanitisation and disinfection will be conducted at the condominium.

- Verdana North Kiara, Dutamas, Kuala Lumpur

The management confirmed in a notice dated Jan 12 that a resident had tested positive for Covid-19.

All common areas have been sanitised and disinfected.


SPORTING AND RECREATION FACILITIES

- Glenmarie Golf & Country Club, Shah Alam, Selangor

The management said a caddy had tested positive for Covid-19 on Jan 13.

Close contact tracing is underway and those who have been identified are advised to undergo self-quarantine.

- Kota Permai Golf & Country Club, Shah Alam, Selangor

The management said in a notice dated Jan 12 that two more staff members had tested positive for Covid-19.

The two were close contacts of the first employee who tested positive.

They last visited the club on Jan 8. The club was closed on Jan 10 and 11 for disinfection and sanitisation.


OFFICES

- Star Media Hub, Shah Alam, Selangor

The Star Media Group said a staff based here had tested positive for Covid-19 on Jan 14.

Contact tracing is being conducted and those identified as close contacts will be screened and quarantined.

The premises will be sanitised at 3pm on Jan 14.

- Menara 1 Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur

The management said in a notice that an employee of one of Menara 1 Mont Kiara's occupants had tested positive for Covid-19 on Jan 12.

The employee last came to work on Jan 12. Disinfection and sanitisation have been carried out.

- Oasis Square Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor

The management issued two notices dated Jan 11 and Jan 13 informing that there have been six Covid-19 cases detected in the building.

The affected blocks are Block B, C, D, F and H. The offices involved have also been closed until further notice.

Sanitisation has been carried out in all common areas.

- Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) office, Muar, Johor

TNB confirmed in a statement that three employees from its Muar office had tested positive for Covid-19 on Jan 13.

All three employees are not from the customer service department and they are currently under quarantine at home. Close contacts have been asked to get tested and quarantine.

As such, the TNB Muar office will be closed from Jan 13 until further notice for sanitisation work.

TNB reassured that this will not affect electricity supply in Muar.


FACTORIES AND INDUSTRIAL AREAS

- i-Stone Systems Sdn Bhd, Senai, Johor

Parent company i-Stone Group Berhad said four local engineers from its subsidiary i-Stone Systems had contracted Covid-19 from their customer's workplace.

They announced this via a Bursa Malaysia announcement dated Jan 12.

Close contacts have been identified, sent for screening and placed under quarantine.

Disinfection and sanitisation have been carried out.

- i-Stone Engineering Sdn Bhd, Skudai, Johor

Four foreign employees have tested positive for Covid-19, which they contracted in their dormitories managed by a third-party service provider, said its parent company i-Stone Group Berhad via a Bursa Malaysia announcement dated Jan 12.

Close contacts have been identified, sent for screening and placed under quarantine.

Disinfection and sanitisation have been carried out.

- PA Metal Technics Sdn Bhd, Senai, Johor

Three foreign employees from PA Metal Technics had tested positive for Covid-19, which they contracted in their dormitories managed by a third-party service provider, said its parent company i-Stone Group Berhad via a Bursa Malaysia announcement dated Jan 12.

Close contacts have been identified, sent for screening and placed under quarantine.

Disinfection and sanitisation have been carried out.

- Spring Art Industries Sdn Bhd, Bukit Pasir, Johor

The company announced via Bursa Malaysia on Jan 12 that some of its employees had tested positive for Covid-19 on Jan 11.

As such, Spring Art's two factories and its administrative office will be closed until Jan 20.
